Happy Friday!
Well, we made it. We made it to the threshold - arguably the most defining weekend in Guelph every year: the Easter weekend. It begins with the week that we are almost finished, where things around the city are relatively calm. Not many phone calls, not many new listings, not many showings being booked - the calm before the storm, if you will. But, like a duck on water, things look calm on the surface but underneath the water, those legs are paddling. Sellers are preparing for the coming week, stagers are booked to capacity, photo shoots are happening by the hour, lawn signs are popping up all over the city, and folks are battening down the hatches in preparation. Based on the talk around the office this past week, it looks like we’ll be following suite as I’ve spoken to a dozen or so Realtors® personally who all have new listings in the pipeline, ready to hit the ground running once the relaxation and family-time come to a close.
This is typical tradition, it really is the starting point for the official kick off of the spring market.
